WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (1) VS BLACKHAWKS (6) 1/20/15

CROMBEEN - Overpowered two Blackhawks in the 1st to get it out of our zone. CROMBEEN  should get some playing time at right wing as BOEDS normal time on the ice will be spread out while he is on IR. Turned out to not be a good night for him, but MOSS probably had the worst night of anyone. 

ROZSIVAL - Got hammered all night by our announcers. No love lost apparently. It's like the guy stole one of TYSON's favorite suits.

LESSIO - Took a really bad penalty in the offensive zone in the 1st. To start the game LESSIO spent more time in the box than he did on the ice. LESSIO at times seems to have almost too  much speed into the zone. I saw him leave the puck behind on breakaways at least 3 times. Gotta give credit to LESSIO though. During the 2nd intermission, his TOP concern was getting  back into the game....the COYOTES were down 4 goals. Someone get this kid a Coke.

MORIO - Is what I call LESSIO when he gets pissed and scores.

CHIPS - Turned over the puck right in front of the net and the COYOTES got caught in the zone. SHAW scored the 2nd goal for the HAWKS and acted like the team had just one the Stanley Cup and drank 8 shot latte's. 

SIX - The number of days till the Coyotes take the ice again...why NHL why?????

IS THAT A BIRD - Seriously hearing some tweeting coming from someone in the stands.

2010 - The last time the COYOTES were beaten by the HAWKS on their own ice.

GORMLEY - I don't mention GORMLEY often, but he lead leads the COYOTES in plus/minus  among active players. The only player ahead of him was of course traded. (KLINKHAMMER). 

LEE - you ummm....

DOAN - Had a few breakaways on one of the PK's but only attempted to shoot it once. I have been saying this all year, but seeing DOAN shoot is almost never a bad thing. After 2 periods the leading shooter on the team had 3 shots... of course it was DOAN.

STONE - Had a clear late in the 2nd and could have easily gotten it out of the zone. Instead it was intercepted and SHAW beats SMITH like a rented goalie.

LEE - You wanna.... maybe ummm... get a little game time... ummm...maybe... get between the pipes... those ummm .... red ones over....ummm over there? 

SMITH - Used to own the BLAWKHAWKS, but quickly sold them before the game. It sounds like maybe the HAWKS got the email from the OILERS saying you can stop being the COYOTES whipping post, don't be like us. Speaking of the OIL, they accidentally won in OT tonight.... the TANK is not as easy to perfect as people may think.

STRAWBERRY - Yeah, the soda of choice tonight. OR the pop of choice depending on what part of the country you are from. I don't know...it's some sort of off brand. 

SAMUELSSON - Is getting better and better at his passes out of the zone. They weren't ever bad, but he is making solid decisions pushing the puck up ice. 

THAT HAWKS ARENA ANNOUNCER - Sounds like he may have done voice work for a bunch of bad movies in the 80's. You know, as the villan you don't see or the guy that says "look in my eyes and see your doom". Er whatever crazy crap he says.

HELP ME - RAANTA, help help me RAANTA....RAANTA RANTA...help help me RAANTA.

YANDLE - No.

VITALE - Is another guy that has been put into the line up that is doing things most nights that keep the puck deep when we are on the attack. I think he would do well as a hustle guy when we are on the PP. Tonight just too many guys not skating without the puck.
