WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (3) VS BLACKHAWKS (2) 2/9/15
CAPSULES - COYOTES 19-27-7 14 points out of 8th place. BLACKHAWKS I don't
know, they are from CHICAGO I guess. It's like another country or something.
BOLDUC - Is typically used when you want to start a new heading or subject on your term paper.
MOSS - Took out 2 HAWKS players on the same play. I still kind of wonder why this dude isn't on defense.
KATHRYN TAPPEN - Thought the BLACKHAWKS had a poor first period? I like her, but she also is one of the RODIM VRBATA people.... it's RADEEM... RADEEM I tell you.
SMITH - Pretty much kept us in the game all night. I would honestly rather get an un-expected bill in the mail that see him out of the net though. Nice shoot out for him. SMITH seems like a new goalie lately.
LESSIO - Shows a lot of promise. Having said that I wish he could hit the net. There are a bunch of fans in section 202 tonight that could at least do that. He should drive more also he is doing a lot of GAGNE like passes to the point when it's not needed. LESSIO did get a goal in the shoot out.
THOSE SIGNS - Are those actual signs on the glass or what the heck is going on. I don't want to see a DUNKIN DONUTS ad...I want to see that HAWKS fan dropping his hotdog. Nevermind...it's probably the Network, shows how much I pay attention to signs when I am not writing about games.
GAGNE - Offsides on a break away...nooooooooooooo. Okay I am calm now.
ANNOUNCERS - Set it up all night giving 30 or 40 reasons why the BLACKHAWKS might be tired. Heck even the ice surface guys are tired according to them. They did compliment our PK...so that was cool. They also correctly stated that hockey was the greatest game in the world.
MURPHY's LAW - Wasn't afraid to take the man tonight. A number of his plays he wasn't even looking at the puck. He was just taking his man out of the picture. Nice job. You could see the HAWKS getting bent out of shape....pretzel shapes to be exact.
ROENICK - Doesn't seem to recall the state PHOENIX is in. He also said SMITH was tired and that is why he's been off? I think if he was paying attention he'd know SMITH has gotten better as the season has gone on. Especially lately.
REIDER - Seemed quiet tonight but he wasn't, after 2 periods he registered the most shots on net. At one point late in the 2nd he had only 4 shots less than the rest of the entire team.
CRAYON - Tackled, beaten, wallet stolen, foot chopped off behind the net....no call.
DOAN'T - you...forget about me. Strong net presence on the PP late in the 2nd and deflected his 11th goal of the year in. He's been a lot more solid on the puck in the past few games.
KANE - Unsportmanlike. That is all.
RANCH - Went on my spaghetti tonight again. I love ranch so much I would put ranch on my ranch.
CAMPBELL - Seemed un-impressed by Kane knocking him to the ice 3 or 4 times. Unfortunately it also took him 3 or 4 attempts at times to clear the zone. TIPPETT must like CAMPBELL because he was out on the ice killing a penalty in OT.
VERMETTE - Had a good game tonight and a goal. Thinking about trading him makes me want to puke. I wouldn't have said that after the first 20 games. Oh he also scored in the shootout so there you have it.
OEL - 2 assists tonight. He didn't have a perfect defensive game, but it was a lot better than the last time we visited CHICAGO. It's no wonder at least according to NBCSN he is not going to get traded. Then again...NBC might be lying to us. #brianwilliams
Z - It's been awhile since he scored on SMITH, but he got one in on a deflection tonight.
STONE - I might have said this before, but his shots make goalies cry. Saw help me RAANTA kind hoping they wouldn't drop the puck for a bit after his shot on net in the 3rd.
McMILLAN - Nothing doing tonight. No shots, just not a whole lot going on. Not sure why but that reminds me I need to take down the last of my Christmas decorations.
