WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (20-36-7) VS DUCKS (40-17-7) 3/3/15'
CAPSULES - Umm, the DUCKS have a way better record than us.
MOORE - Or less..gave up the puck on a PP and then of course the DUCKS had time to skate down the ice between OEL and GAGNE and score a shorthanded goal. I wanna give him a chance, but the difference between him and DAHLBACk was night and day tonight and day...wait... MOORE stuck up for MURPHY late in the game but also made yet another mistake that lead to the DUCKS empty netter that sealed the win for them.
ARC-REACTOR - Looked really strong again tonight. He lead the team in shots on net. He is a guy I'd like to see pared up with Doan more often.
CHIPS - Was mainly trying to destroy every DUCK he saw on the ice. I am not a fan of him hitting guys into DOAN like he did in the 1st.
THAT GIRL - One eye with pink and one eye with blue....that is all there is to say about that. She looked like she was having a blast.
DAHLBECK - Has a great freakin attitude and a smile on his face. The DUCKS scored less goals with him on the ice than they did with OEL. I love OEL, so don't get me wrong...it was an encouraging sight. He stood out knocking the crap out of a bunch of DUCKS.
NICK THURMAN KIDCASTER - Umm, yeah he is the best one all year. Funny, outgoing, smart. Plus throws down on the Cheese Quesadilla... so...there you have it. Kinda wish they would have had him on during game play though.
HOLY CATS - There is a fishing village in Japan where the cats are overrunning the place. (Aoshima Island) Outnumbering the humans 6 to 1... wait...what were we talking about again?
McGINN - Had a strong defensive game. He is a Left Winger, but he is not afraid to hit you like a freight train. No..not a freight train. Just a regular train...it might be a passenger train... I don't know. I will have to ask one of the players he hit.
CRAYON - Had a goal stolen from him in the 2nd. Great save by Anderson. I know some people wanted CRAYON traded at the deadline, but I think he has a chance of being a good help to all the young guys we brought in. On the ice, he's been solid for about 4 games now. I like guys that still play hard when it's hardest to play.
COGLIANO - 5'10" deflect the puck around shoulder height past SMITH for the DUCKS second goal. The net is 4 feet tall, so... apparently COGLIANO's face and neck are 1ft 10 inches in length. Probably good to know if he ever becomes a goalie.
RIEDER - Has a crazy backhand shot. He must have finally gotten sick of TYSON talking about his speed and how he'd like to see more of it.
STONE - Coughed up at least 4 pucks in the first 2 periods. Not only coughed them up...he was practically passing them to the DUCKS.
VITALE - I like him most nights, but dang dude, put a puck on net. VITALE has 44 shots on net in 51 games. By way of comparison, LESSIO had that many in just 26 games.
DOAN - Does not give a crap about GETZLAF beating him down to the ground twice. That is out captain folks. DOAN did have a break away in the 2nd but never got a great shot off, that may have been part of the frustration.
MURPHY - Has had enough of PERRY. CROMBEEN is just waiting to freakin light someone up.
THAT MILKSHAKE - I am wanting to make a milkshake run, but no.
SMITH - Looked shakey towards the end of the 2nd and the COYOTES overall didn't come out of the 2nd intermission with much fire. The 2nd and 3rd goals against were probably of the "un-savable" variety.
CAMPBELL - Had a rough game, but he did manage to get 2 shots on goal. Yeah, that is 2 more than KORPY.
CUNNINGHAM - Managed to have a solid game hitting, but seems like he has no real direction skating wise and doesn't seem to have an idea of what the rest of the team is trying to do. His passes and puck control just looked terrible tonight.
