WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (3) VS CANADIENS (2) 11/19/15
CAPSULES : Coyotes 10-8-1 / Several games coming up that could boost them in the standings. Montreal 14-4-2 / This team is really good but some consider their 5-3-1 record over the last 10 games before tonight...a slide.
PARALLEL UNIVERSE - The Coyotes scored first...what the cow.
PLAYOFFS - Yeah I know it's early, but we live in a state with more golf courses than Scotland. It's a critical stretch over the next two weeks and you don't want to be looking for wins to get to .500.
OEL - Scored the 3rd goal in the 2nd. It seems like every time Jenn and I post something: He shoots, he scores.
THE CANADIENS FAN - That was yelling at Z in the penalty box looks a lot like an angry Guy Fieri.
DOAN - Another right place at the right time goal for the captain. Like clockwork, DOANER is heating up right on cue. Like the other night, he did have a few more wide-open shots and couldn't quite put it on net.
BOEDS - Rescued the defense right after OEL's marker. Kind of weird that he didn't have a shot on goal well into the 2nd though? He had some other pretty bad moments on D though, which is something both he and DAHLBECK need to sure up.
AIM - 49 shots on goal after 2 periods for the CANADIENS and only 19 ended up on goal? I don't remember ever seeing a stat that odd.
DUCLAIR - A rare couple of shots on goal with no goal. Hmmm.... he did have an awesome assist though. DUCLAIR has the 2nd highest shooting percentage in the NHL. That may be among players that are not injured because GROSSMAN's is pretty ridiculously high also. DUCLAIR also looks almost the same now as he did when he was a kid.
KEYS TO THE GAME - I kinda liked the French version better.
CHIPS - Was a show on TV in the 70's and part of the 80's.
RUNNING OUT OF JERSEY - P.SAMUELSSON that's 12 characters dude. Could have probably saved the material on that P.
ENGAGED - SMITH is pretty good some nights. Cutting off the shooting angle for FLEISCHMANN midway through the 2nd was something we wouldn't have seen last week.
HANZAL - Having a much better game than he has the past few outings.
VERMETTE - Needs to stop tapping the puck when we are on the PK. Feel free to send that thing packing.
CONDON - Should change the last letter in his name to an R. Then he would be pretty awesome. He does have a cool red clover leaf on his face mask though.
DAHLBECK - Had at least 3 times tonight where the CANADIENS were bringing it into our zone and he tipped it right to the player they were trying to get it to.
Z - Sometimes helps SMITH play goalie when he isn't busy staring through the penalty box plexiglass. His glove also might not completely fit right.
STONE - Youtube the FACTS OF LIFE opening song and you will have the exact wording for how his night went tonight.
THIS - Doesn't happen without Jenn. My motivation and loving support for this thing.
GORDON - Quietly solid tonight.
REIDER - I think his speed was really too much for the CANADIENS D. Him and CHIPS had the puck in the their zone quite a lot. It does look like they did know he was coming though, which is probably what helped keep him off
the scoreboard.
RICHARDSON - TIPPETT seems to have a lot of faith in him to have him out on the ice so late in the game. He did lose the face off but killed some valuable time.
