WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (2) VS PREDATORS (5) 12/1/15 

CAPSULES : Coyotes 13-10-1 / Never thought I would say this, but the Coyotes feature the 10th best offense in the NHL.  This is very strange because there are only 3 teams in the league that shoot the puck on net less than they do. Predators 13-7-4 / 4-4-2 in their last 10 games before tonight.  They are 23rd on the PK which means teams freakin' love it when they commit penalties. 

BOEDS - Suddenly leads the team in goals with 9.  6 of those came against the Senators.

WEBER - Might be immortal.  I think this dude played for Nashville before they were even thought of.  

DUCLAIR - After 23 games played, only ANISIMOV of Chicago has a higher "I make goalies cry" shooting %.  There are some players with higher percentages that have played less games, so we are totally ignoring them.

383 - The number of days until the COYOTES will have been in Arizona for 20 years.  20 freakin' years I tell you.  Tell us that hockey won't work in the desert! Tell us!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Okay...we are calm now.

DOAN't - you forget about me.  Sitting out game number 4 with a lower body injury.  If the wins keep coming, I'd rather see a healthier DOAN in a few weeks than cram him back into the lineup now.  Just going by years past, I don't want to find out he is missing part of his leg or playing with fifteen broken bones and a piece of pizza lodged in his calf after the season is over.

OEL - Every time I turn on my tv, he is putting a puck in the net.  He was also shockingly outshooting anyone else on the Coyotes after 2.  Unfortunately, a bad pass trying to get out of our zone in the 3rd lead to a Preds goal. 

TACO NIGHT - Yeah, if you skipped getting tacos tonight, you missed out. Because you know...it's taco night.

ALL-STAR VOITING - Pretty big typo as the 1st intermission started. 

HANZAL - May have ruined Carrie Underwood's week.  His D game has been steadily improving as the season has gone on.  I guess it also helps that he is actually on the ice. 

RICHARDSON - I feel like he's finally getting back to his usual annoying play. Which means he is going to start bugging the crap out of a lot of teams on this road trip. 

VERMETTE - Heated things up a bit last week.  Tonight of course, he thinks he doesn't need to wear a helmet.

CHIPS - One of my favorite players even though I give him a lot of heck on this blog.  If he could get it going on offense, that is just one more weapon out there on the ice every night. 

IS SOMETHING - Is something wrong with the Sabers?  I feel like...they are competing.  Sorry, I got distracted by the score of their game.

DOMI - We kind of wonder if this guy will ever have another game where he doesn't register at least a point.

JACK - Our cat...I wonder if he gets happy when he sees a tiger on TV or if he just thinks, "that's overdoing it".

MARTINOOK - Has been solid all season.  When he wants the puck, I have seen him take it from 2 or 3 players from the other team. 

GROSSMAN - Allowed FORSBURG to get around him in the 3rd leading to another Preds goal.  SMITH is good, but you can't leave your goalie out to dry.

UPSHALL - There are still a lot of times where I see REIDER going up the ice and think it's UPSHALL. Yeah, I am aware he hasn't played with the team for years. 

WHAT? - How is NEAL knocking SMITH's mask off with his stick, "not" high sticking?

THAT LADIES GLASSES - Behind Laviolette.... 70's big time. 

BAD - Probably the sloppiest 3rd period we have played all year.
