WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (0) VS DEVILS (2) 01/16/16 

CAPSULES : Coyotes 21-17-4 / Coming off an OT loss against the Redwings, the Coyotes have posted one of the best records in the league over the last 15 games.  New Jersey 22-19-5 / Shouldn't have any trouble winning today, for some reason we started Lindback. 

READY - The first goal by New Jersey was scored by a dude that hadn't scored in 9 months.  Women can have an entire kid ready to be born, before this guy finally puts one in the net, and the Coyotes give one up to him in minutes.

LINDBACK - Trade deadline...that is all I have to say.

IRONY - I can barely see the "Team Eye Doc" advertisment on the boards.  Jenn says this is by design.

DOAN - Our PK has been terrible lately, but it has nothing to do with DOAN.  Some nice reads on passes today for the captain.  DOAN destroyed a New Jersey player in the 2nd on a face off and buried another player in the 3rd.  Pretty great stuff.

STONE - Has a bullet for a shot.  We mention this all the time.  After the 2nd period, he had more shots on net that anyone on the team.

CONNAUTON - Took a delay of game penalty in the 1st, but otherwise played solid in the first period.

SIRI - "What do you think of Anders Lindback?" Response: "I think therefore I am, but let's not put  Descartes before the horse."

RICHARDSON - Looks like he should be in an action movie as the detective trying to straighten out his life after losing his partner in a laundry mat.  He beat the living daylights out of ZAJAC right before the 2nd intermission (action movie I tell you).

I THINK - I bought some coffee creamer at SCHLEMKO. 

DUKE - Had a great game and probably should have had at leat 3 assists. 

MURPHY - Missed a play early in the 3rd that lead to a goal.  To MURPHY's defense, LINDBACK should not have been over-commited to the wrong side of the net.

MARTINOOK - Never stops playing as hard as he can.  Can't say enough about this kid.  Probably should be in concussion protocal after that DOAN shot in the 3rd hit him right in the brain.

GROSSMANN - Had another solid game today.  We have been giving him a hard time, but today's game was one of his better efforts. 

DOMI - The way DOMI played today you would have expected him to have a hat-rack-trick.  Talk about un-luck.

SCHNEIDER - Hats off. 

0-5 PP - Can not happen if you want to win games.
