WHAT I SAW : COYOTES (3) VS DEVILS (5) 10/25/16

CAPSULES - COYOTES 1-5-0. The Coyotes scored 6 more goals on the season in 5 games than the Devils have scored in 5 games. Having said that, the Devils only allowed 9 goals all season going into the game versus the Coyotes' 1,826. Kidding, it's 21 allowed, but it feels like 1,826. DEVILS 3-2-1 seem to specialize in low scoring, low hitting, low shooting, low skating, snore fests. 

TIPPETT - Does not agree that DOMINGUE was finally coming into form. 

HANZAL (I can't see his number, he's all the way over in the penalty box)
- Took a bad delay of game penalty in the 2nd. It wasn't the play that
cost them the Devils' 1st goal, but it didn't help. To HANZAL's credit there
is a lot of extreme with him. He basically made the Coyotes' 2nd and 3rd goals 
happen by being in front of the net and obscuring SCHNEIDER's view. 

DUCLAIR (10) - Screened SCHNEIDER which allowed the goal in the 1st to happen. Yes he didn't get an assist, but these are the things that start piling up
and causing success. 

PETERS (40) - 1-800 RENT A GOALIE. Not scoring, need some confidence...
PETERS Goaltending is here to meet your needs. Kidding....he was left out to
dry, but you also have to stop pucks if you want to continue to play for the
Coyotes. That last goal was clearly on him. 

RICHARDSON (15) - Finally took a shot on a breakaway. I remember wanting this to happen 4 games ago. Shoot first, ask questions later.

GOLIGOSKI (33) - Not a good one for him. This is the kind of game that makes people start calling to see if you are traded or sent to the minors. He also broke his stick on the net after the Devils put in their 5th goal.  

OEL (23) - Is just trying to make sure that little girl (who is a Coyotes fan) and
her parents don't go home disappointed. 2 Goals on the night.

MARTINOOK (48) - "Hey, you know what? There's another name you might know me by! ...Star-Lord."
1 Goal in the 1st and consistent throughout.

STONE (26) - Registered an assist tonight but only 2 shots going into the 3rd though....put that puck on net from Boston, kid. 

TYSON - I Would not doubt if he dreams about faceoffs. 

MCGINN (88) - You can already feel a difference when he is out on the ice and it's on the right side of the force. 

TACO BELL - Heck no, I am not buying those chicken roll-up things and getting addicted again...you just take them away and ruin everything...everything!!!!

BLOG - WHAT I SAW will likely be back on November 1st. We are going on vacation and when I am on vacation I only focus on Jenn and doing almost nothing. 

CHYCHRUN (6) - Had the puck in our zone late in the game with no one around him and basically passed it to no one. Looking at the play there are some nerves there. Shake it off kid. The Coyotes need you to be solid, late. 

SLING - The streaming for SLING was 100 times better tonight than usual. More of that.

MURPHY (5) - Took a penalty late in the 3rd after HANZAL was high-sticked. So for whatever reason, the high-sticking was overlooked and the Devils put one right through PETERS.

REFS - Decided to get in the way of the Devils clearing it out of the zone late. Instead of icing, the Coyotes allowed the nail in the coffin. This was a rough one where the Coyotes dominated most of the game, but lost. Not blaming them, it's just unfortunate.

THE LEAGUE - They just don't know yet. How good this team has a chance to be. Can you feel it coming?
