WHAT I SAW - COYOTES (4) VS SENATORS (7) 10-18-16

CAPSULES : COYOTES 1-1-0 after an OT victory over the Flyers about a 
month ago. Just kidding, it just seems like it's been that long since
this team has seen ice time. Ottawa 3-1-0 just got their lives changed by
the Redwings, losing 5 to 1 on Monday. This will be the 2nd game of the season
where the Coyotes will be playing a team that has played the night before
(which sometimes doesn't go well for the Coyotes for some reason).

I HOPE YOU GUYS WORK IT OUT : Nothing like hearing "Bad Romance" on an organ.

REIDER (8) : Pretty sure I said this in the off season, but he is a "must have
player" for the Coyotes. 1 Goal in the 1st.

SHORTY : Can we go back to declining power plays?

AFTER 2 : It's hard to believe the Coyotes are losing to the Washington Generals of the NHL. Even harder to believe they racked up 7 goals on us.  

IN CANADA : You don't just get pizza, you get Pizza Pizza. Apparently there is a
pizza place there called Pizza Pizza. 

PAUL MCCLEAN : That mustache goes on forever.

SHOT ATTEMPTS : Apparently do not equate to goals or even shots on goal. The Coyotes are currently shooting at just over 50% in this game. I can't think of another profession where you can have that kind of lack of accuracy and still
have a job. Okay... maybe weather people can? Yeah weather people seem to get away with it. 

YOU CAN'T GO STROME AGAIN (20) : Strome had an early assist and was terribly quiet after that. Keep pushing kid. You can do this. 

OEL (23) : Led the way in shots on goal (speaking of that) with 5 through 2
periods. Some of you know I am for Domi over OEL as the next team captain, but he has yet another goal tonight...so...I may want to re-think that.

DOAN (19) : 550 Assists in his career. Holy cow. That's about the number of
popcorn bags I ate this summer. 

SMITTY (41) : Is killing your fantasy team right now. To his credit the wheels 
didn't even come close to falling off until he left the game.

RICHARDSON (15) : Is getting better and better on the PK. I also heard Goligoski's name a ton, but this is our first write-up of the season so everybody settle down. Maybe it's just really fun to say..."Goligoski"...you gotta sound it out.

KINGS : Are getting destoyed right now. Awesome. 

CLASS : Ottawa fans cheered as Smith was helped off the ice as a show of support. If Ottawa makes the playoffs I will be rooting for them in the East. 

TYSON : "Coaches can see things as they happen". Eyes...getting things done since the dawn of creation. 

DOMINGUE (35) : Hmmm.... was he this off in pre-season? I get that we had some turnovers in the 3rd, but this one got the best of him. 

NOW AND SCHENN (2) : In the 3rd Doan got into it a bit after a hit from Phaneuf and Schenn was right there getting into Phaneuf's business. Doan doesn't need help, but looking out for your captain will cause fans to fall in love with you.

MARTINOOK (48) : Pretty solid game tonight again. I am really glad they kept this guy. 

DOMI (16) : Saw a great effort out of Domi tonight but our goal tending let us
down and we did not have the energy we needed overall to get it done.
