CAPSULES - COYOTES 5-8-0 The Coyotes PP is climbing the ladder now,
ahead of 3 other teams in the league with a 10.5% success rate. Before 
you laugh...that's better than the KINGS. The JETS are 7-7-0 and 
feature the 8th best offense in the NHL. They do suck on defense though.

AND THEN YOU GO AND TOTALLY RADIM YOURSELF (17) - VRBATA is now tied for the most goals by any player in the entire Pacific Division. 5 shots on
net tonight.

3 - The number of shots the Coyotes allowed in the 1st Period. It's also
the number of times Metallica has released an album since 1997. 

MURPHY (5) - Absolutely destroyed THORBURN player early in the 2nd. That 
is the MURPHY I remember...laying down the law. 

THIS GIRL - On the Taco Bell commercial totally had a headdress made out
of freakin' forks. Nice. 

IF NOT NOW THEN SCHENN? (2) - Had a nice tilt with THORBURN, but I think getting back up after he'd taken THORBURN down once already, wasn't the best plan. 

REIDER (8) - Had a sick pass from DOAN in the 3rd but couldn't bury it. At 
the time, it would have tied the game 2-2. Unfortunately he forgot how to 
pass on a 3 on 1 breakaway midway through the 3rd, basically expecting DOAN
to knock the puck out of mid-air while skating on his head and making pancakes. REIDER did score late.  

DEANGELO (77) - Had a solid game but one odd moment where he passed it behind DOMINGUE right to a JETS player in the defensive zone. Those are the kinds of giveaways that only Pappa John's should be doing.

DOAN (19) - Had at least 3 turnovers tonight. The captain seems to be struggling as of late. Not bad play...just not getting production. He did get an assist on the night. 

PP - Our powerplay looked really solid passing and chance-wise in the 3rd. 

BOOK-EM DANO - If you understand that reference, here is a virtual hi-five.

OEL - Has had a rough week after getting fined for embellishment, he threw 
a pass right up the middle to the JETS that lead to their 3rd goal of the night.

DOMINGUE (35) - Gave up a pretty bad goal on the 1st one, but the other 
2 were just lack of effort on the part of the D. 

DVORAK (18) - Had a mixed bag night. -1 on the ice and 3 shots.

2 GAMES - Would make a huge difference. The COYOTES are closer to the rest of the pack now than they were a week ago, but they do need to keep the 2 wins 1 loss or 3 wins 1 loss thing, or better, going for awhile. 

SASQUATCH (25) - Was all over the ice tonight with 8 hits. 

MCGINN (88) - Had a quiet night. 

DOMI (16) - Is an assist machine but I wish he'd have pulled the trigger a 
lot more tonight. 1 shot is not going to do it. 

DAVID LEE ROTH - He gets up...and nothing gets him down.
