WHAT I SAW : COYOTES (0) VS BLACKHAWKS (4) 12/6/16

CAPSULES - COYOTES 8-13-4 The Coyotes came into tonight having 
the fewest regulation wins of any team in the league, but do
not freak out, it's still early. BLACKHAWKS 17-8-0 are the 2nd 
best team in the league right now, but have the worst
penalty kill. Yeah, not a joke...they suck when they are a man
down.

MCGINN (88) - Took an iffy penalty in the first. Unfortunately it
lead to a Blackhawks goal. Because Tyson mentioned their PP was
struggling, you kinda knew that the Coyotes were going to give up
a goal. MCGINN gave up turnovers like crazy tonight. 

REIDER (8) - Had some good effort tonight, but didn't get any 
backup when he was passing out from behind the net. Not crashing
the net and taking so few shots gets you just 15 shots after 2
periods of play. 

DUCLAIR (10) - I am a huge fan of DUCLAIR's but if you get benched
one night, you had better at least take 10 shots the next night. 
DUCLAIR didn't muster 1 shot in the game's first 50+ minutes.

HANZAL (11) - Didn't take a penalty tonight, but unfortunately his
line wasn't getting it done tonight. 

DOMI (16) - Had no stick for awhile in the first. Once he 
had it, he used it to take just 1 shot on net.

7 - The number of Coyotes players that had taken at least 1 shot in 
the first 20 minutes. After that things just went barreling downhill.

DOAN (19) - After 50 minutes, had no shots on net and 2 minutes in the
box. That isn't going to cut it. 

SASQUATCH (25) - Was barely noticable on the ice tonight. 

LAST YEAR - Jenn ordered a Coyotes hoodie from NHL.com. When the package
came, we recieved 3 box cutters and the invoice but no hoodie. 
What the heck. No I can't let it go. 

PERLINI (29) - Passing is just way off. I think he did some
other good things, but it will take some time to really click
with this group. 

THAT DIVE - By the guy in the iphone 7 commercial is legit.  

MARTINOOK (48) - Took Seabrook out in the 2nd and it lead to
some sort of injury. Martinook had a pretty rough first 2
periods. 

NAU - It's possible to go freakin' broke. 

CROUSE (67) - Rough night.

THIS - Is the part of the blog post where Jess was just totally
checked out. 

CHYCHRUN (6) - The Blackhawks had a 3 on 1 breakaway in the 
2nd and CHYCHRUN made a crazy effort to break it up that 
actually worked. He had some major hustle tonight.  

OEL (23) - Not a factor in this one. Some poor passes out of the
zone and looked generally checked out.

STONE (26) - Had one hard shot in the first period, but after 
that, kinda disappeared. 

GOOGLE FIBER - Are you having a hard time finding Phoenix? 
Weren't we suppossed to have crazy fast internet by now?

GOLIGOSKI (33) - Tried his best to get a penalty in 1st, 
but apparently the refs just were not looking. He also 
had a bad turnover in the 2nd, that almost lead to a 
breakaway. 

SMITH (41) - At the end of the 1st had allowed 20% of
the shots he faced to get to the back of the net. He also
changed his helmet in between periods, because goalies are 
like that. After 3 more goals he probably wishes he hadn't.

SCHENN (2) - Had 6 hits on the night and I thought generally
played well.
