CAPSULES - COYOTES 10-14-5 Now would be a good time to go back in
time and prevent the Domi and Richardson injuries. REDWINGS 13-13-4
We don't talk about the Redwings because nothing going on in the
East matters.

SMITH (41) - Butterfingers tonight with a ton of bad decisions with
the puck. Overall his actual goaltending was stellar.

THAT HURRICANES - game was bonkers. Like absolutely nuts.

HOLLAND (13) - Had a good try on a 3 on 1 breakaway in the 2nd, but
not passing doesn't give you enough of an advantage there. On those
breakaways you want to pass at least once. He did have a great
assist on the MCGINN goal and overall I think we can stand to see
a lot more of this guy.

DUCLAIR (10) - Was all over the freakin' ice in the 1st. Good to see.
His line tonight was by far the best on the ice. DUCLAIR had a crazy
great assist tonight from behind the net to help MCGINN in getting
his second goal.

MARTINOOK (48) - Took a high stick in the 3rd and no one cared.
1-800-EYE-CENTER

AS I WAS JUST SHEAHAN - I am not a fan when entire NHL players wind
up in our net.

5 - The number of points between the Coyotes and a Wild Card spot. Yeah
I know it's early. I don't care about the rules of not keeping track of
this stuff so early.

THERE - Is a cheese-puff in the server. You cannot have that.

DEANGELO (77) - Looked great tonight. Scored a goal and just overall
spent his night making the Redwings wonder what the heck was happening
to them. Once in the 2nd they were probably wondering why he sent the
puck right up the middle in front of the net for a turnover.

EGGNOG - Pumpkin eggnog, is happening in 5,4,3,2,1...

DOAN (19) - Looked frustrated most of the night. His stat line didn't
have much to show for his efforts. A rare night without a shot on
net.

HOW - Is it that after 3 periods the Coyotes had a 4-1 lead with just
19 shots?

CROUSE (67) - His goal in the 1st was pretty sick. I can't believe how
many times opportunities like that have slipped by the Coyotes this season.
CROUSE had one of the best stat lines of the night.

OEL - Seemed to actually be a little focused on defense tonight. Kidding,
the guy is awesome...but yeah. Defense is good. Solid stuff tonight.

GOLIGOSKI (33) - Not his best night, but it got the job done.

PERLINI (29) - Was mugged in the 3rd and for some bizarre reason the refs
laid off the whistles. No shots on net from PERLINI almost halfway
through the 3rd.

HANZAL (11) - Solid on a lot of the little things tonight. Maybe some of
the "I will take you to the airport myself" crowd will get off his back for
a night.

MCGINN (88) - Looked better tonight than usual. Notched a much needed
goal.  This is the kind of night we need to see from him on a night
in night out basis. Or at least like every other game...I'd take that
even.

...AND SCHENN (2) WE GOT INTO A FIGHT - After getting his shirt pulled over
his head for hitting a Detroit player, he wasn't able to see, but I
think we can still register that as a fight.

CHYRCHRUN (6) - Loved his game tonight. He is working on his positioning
more and making things harder for opposing players.
