WHAT I SAW : COYOTES (1) VS CANADIENS(2) 1/23/19
ARCHAEOLOGY – The Coyotes discovered their ability to win
face-offs in the first period. The put it back after that.
ARCHIBALD (45) – had a nice breakaway in the 2nd,
but missed the net by about 5 feet? That’s skill I tell you.
INGREDIENTS – Defying gravity.
GOLIGOSKI (33) – Had the puck taken from him when the
Coyotes had Power Play in the 2nd. The Coyotes didn’t even get it
into the Canadiens zone until 1:20 into the Power Play. Pretty terrible. After
2 periods however, GOLIGOSKI did have just as many shots than any of the teams
forwards (3). Overall however he’s had a really solid game.
KEMPE (29) – Is all about sitting in the penalty box
tonight. I would be too if I was playing my 3rd game in 4 nights.
PASS TO NOWHERE – Seeing a LOT more Coyotes passes to
Canadian players in the 2nd, than those going to ours.
PICKARD (30) – The goal in the 1st was NOT on
him. Actually, lets just say either was the 2nd Canadian goal.
GARLAND (83) – Came to play tonight. Had a huge breakaway in
the 2nd. Didn’t score, but his effort drew a penalty. On that Power
Play GARLAND put one in a wide open net against Price.
THE MONA LISA - Does not have eyebrows.

KELLER (9) – Must have been pretty upset about the first
Power Play because he really helped settle the team down on the 2nd.
He didn’t score, but he put a few solid shots on net that kept the Power Play
buzzing. He also has an assist.
CANADIENS – Is apparently not even a word according to Microsoft
WORD.
THIS CAN'T BE FOR WEAL (10) had just 5:42 on the ice after 2 periods?
He had some awesome moves in the 3rd, but missed the net on a shot,
meaning he’s still with just 1 shot in 3 games. He did however score a goal on PICKARD (30).
Which you know…kinda sucks because that’s our goalie tonight.
4 HOT DOGS – Used to sound great. Now it’s like, can I get 4
subs maybe?
OEL – Out tonight. It’s
probably a good time for a break after tonight. Lots of guys down and if OEL is
going to miss any time, it might as well be when his team isn’t on the ice.
Wishing him a speedy recovery in case I haven’t said that.
COUSINS (25) – Registered an assist and had 2 shots on net after 2. I would like to
see him shoot more, but the assist is pretty awesome.
GALCHENYUK (17) – Looked pretty tired in the 3rd.
He was responsible for a putting out the movie PASS TO NOWHERE 2 : RIGHT PAST
YOU. However that did not stop him from scoring the Coyotes 2nd goal
hitting a puck right out of mid-freakin-air. Unfortunately the Coyotes were
called off-sides negating the goal.
PANIK (14) – Not having an offensive presence tonight, but
he’s actually been pretty solid in the defensive zone.
SUPER VILLAIN – When you start reading the last names of the
Canadiens players, I am pretty sure they is also the names, of all the bad guys
in the 1980’s THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN cartoon.
LYUBUSKIN (46) – Another Coyotes player avoiding decent
passing tonight.
TO EVERY SEASON CHYCHRUN, CHYCHRUN (6) – Well into the 3rd he had 4
shots . He also seemed to have a LOT more gas in the tank than a lot of the
rest of the team.
WRAP UP - Gutsy
effort - 3rd game in 4 nights. NOTHING to hang our heads about. Have an amazing
break boys.
TEAMS WE WOULD LIKE TO WIN TONIGHT -
ST. LOUIS OVER ANAHEIM. It would still leave the BLUES a pt. back of us. And keep the DUCKS from being 3pts in front of us.
CAROLINA OVER VANCOUVER. It would stop the CANUCKS from being 4pts in front of us.
MINNESOTA OVER COLORADO. It would stop the AVALANCHE from being 4pts in front of us.
